Email Notifications

Logify Alert allows you to set up email notifications about crash reports. It can send daily digests or notifications about each crash report.

Set Up Email Notifications

Follow the steps below to enable email notifications.

  1. Open the Settings tab and select the application you want to set up.

  2. Select the Notifications | Email setting.

  3. Select the options you want to specify:

    • Send me a daily digest - enable daily digests.
    • Notify me - receive email notifications each time the application sends a new unique crash report to Logify Alert. This option is also available when you create a new application.
    • Notify about duplicates - specify whether Logify Alert should also notify you about duplicate reports.

    The changes are saved automatically.

Select Email Address

Logify Alert sends notifications to the email address associated with your DevEpxress account. If there are multiple addresses listed on your DevExpress account, you can select which of them receive notifications from Logify Alert. To enable notifications for an alternate email address, do the following:

  1. Open the Manage tab and select Profile.

  2. Select an email address from the Notification Emails list.

    The changes are saved automatically, and Logify Alert starts to send notifications about reports and daily digests to the selected email.

Change Email Template

Emails contain the following information:

  Subject: [Logify] New Crash Report
  Content:
    URL - the link to the generated crash report;
    App - the name of the crashed application;
    Version - the application's version;
    Date - the crash date;
    Exception (s) - the list of exceptions.

Note: To use the correct date/time values in email notifications, specify your time zone in the Profile page.

Follow the steps below to change the email template.

  1. Open the Settings tab and select the application you want to set up.

  2. Select the Notifications | Email setting.

  3. Click Edit template and change the HTML code. To add a specific report field to the template, position the cursor within the Template box and click the field name in the Fields list below.

  4. Click Save to save the changes.


You can also set up Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications.
