Microsoft Teams Notification

Logify Alert allows you to set up Microsoft Teams notifications sent each time a new crash report is received from your application. By default, sent notifications contain the application name, version (if specified) and a list of exceptions.

First of all, it is required to add the Incoming Webhook connector to your channel in Microsoft Teams. For this purpose, follow the steps below.

  1. Click ... next to the channel name (in Microsoft Teams) and then select Connectors.

  2. Click Add next to the Incoming Webhook connector.

  3. Enter a webhook name, upload an image to associate with data from the webhook, and click Create.

  4. Copy the webhook URL to the clipboard and save it. You'll need the webhook URL for sending information from Logify Alert to Microsoft Teams.

  5. Click Done.

To set up Microsoft Teams notifications from Logify Alert, do the following.

  1. Open the Settings tab and select an application to be set up.

  2. Select the Notifications | Microsoft Teams node in the settings tree of contents.

  3. Insert the saved webhook URL in the edit box.

  4. Use the Notify about duplicates check box to specify whether or not Logify Alert should also notify you about duplicate reports, not only about unique ones.

  5. To change the Microsoft Teams notification template, click Edit template and change the shown JSON as required. For more information on the message formatting supported by Microsoft Teams, refer to the Office 365 Connectors API Reference document.

  6. To save the changes, click Save. To delete the settings group, click Delete below it.

Also, you can set up notifications sent into other communication systems. For more information on available settings, refer to the Set Up the Application section.
